Metro Line 3 Faces Heavy Delays in Mexico City

Social media users report deficiencies in the Collective Transportation System Metro of Mexico City. One of the most affected lines is Line 3, with delays and a high influx of passengers. Some users express their frustration at wait times of up to 10 minutes or more to board a train on this line.

In response to the complaints, the Metro reported that they are sending empty units to the stations with the highest demand to try to mitigate the situation. Additionally, users are asked to be patient and pay attention to the busiest stations when boarding a train. It was reported that Line 3 had experienced delays of up to 10 minutes and a train was removed for inspection, which contributed to the prolonged waits.

On the official social media of the Metro, it is mentioned that Lines 3 and A have maximum influx, with wait times of 7 minutes to board a train. Similarly, high influx is reported in other lines such as 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, B, and 12, with wait times of 5 minutes. However, Line 4 is reported as "clear" with wait times of 4 minutes.

User complaints continue to come in, especially regarding Line 3, noting frequent stops and slow service. Some are asking to avoid this line during certain hours due to the precarious conditions of the service. Authorities are expected to take measures to address these deficiencies and improve the travel experience for Metro users in Mexico City.
